YES MUSIC!

Spirit Of Unicorn Music and Cherry Red Records have announced a deluxe reissue of progressive rock titans Yes‘ Keys To Ascension: The Studio Recordings; a new collection bringing together every studio track from their two original Keys To Ascension albums. The sessions were the first studio recordings from the classic quintet of Jon Anderson, Steve Howe, Chris Squire, Alan White and Rick Wakeman since 1978’s Tormato, and would prove to be the last from that celebrated line-up. Cherry Red also represents the rights to Chris Squire‘s landmark 1975 solo album Fish Out Of Water, currently marking its 50th anniversary with a newly remastered edition, alongside a range of Rick Wakeman material spanning studio albums and live releases.

FOXY FRIENDS

Noosha Fox and friends injected some sophisticated glamour into the UK charts of the mid-1970s. Fox‘s ‘Only You Can’ peaked at No. 3 while ‘S-S-S Single Bed‘ peaked one place lower. ‘If I Point At The Moon’, taken from their 1975 self-titled album, is a lilting, sublime pop ditty that sounds remarkably timeless. The song is featured in the US drama mini-series A Friend Of The Family, which aired recently on the Peacock network.
