Tuscan Renaissance

We now represent two more albums by popular progressive folk band Renaissance – namely, Tuscany (2001) and In The Land Of The Rising Sun: Live In Japan (2002). Tuscany, their twelfth album, reunited original members Annie Haslam, Michael Dunford, Terence Sullivan and John Trout after a lengthy hiatus. Best known for their 1978 UK top 10 hit ‘Northern Lights’ and classics like ‘Carpet of the Sun’, ‘Mother Russia’ and ‘Ashes Are Burning’, the group developed a unique sound, combining Annie’s distinctive lead vocal with classical, folk, rock and jazz. We also control rights to their albums for BTM and Warners, including Scheherazade And Other Stories (1975), Turn Of The Cards (1974), Novella (1977), A Song For All Seasons (1978) and Azure d’Or (1979).

FOXY FRIENDS

Noosha Fox and friends injected some sophisticated glamour into the UK charts of the mid-1970s. Fox‘s ‘Only You Can’ peaked at No. 3 while ‘S-S-S Single Bed‘ peaked one place lower. ‘If I Point At The Moon’, taken from their 1975 self-titled album, is a lilting, sublime pop ditty that sounds remarkably timeless. The song is featured in the US drama mini-series A Friend Of The Family, which aired recently on the Peacock network.
