Tracie´s Jams
Pop sensation Tracie enjoyed success in the 80s as a protégé of former Jam frontman Paul Weller. Replying to an ad in Smash Hits for demo tapes for his Respond label, Tracie recorded with The Jam and The Style Council, alongside launching her own successful career on the back of singles ‘The House That Jack Built’ and ‘Give It Some Emotion.’
Her debut album Far From The Hurting Kind was released in 1984 but her second album (for Polydor) No Smoke Without Fire was never released by the label before eventually finding a home on Cherry Red in 2014. Cherry Red represents the complete recordings of Tracie.
