Heavy metal stalwarts Tokyo Blade return through our Dissonance Productions imprint with their tenth album, Fury, which boasts fifteen tracks of pure, unadulterated rock from the classic line-up of Alan Marsh (vocals), Andy Boulton (lead guitar), John Wiggins (rhythm guitar), Andy Wrighton (bass) and Steve Piece (drums).
Formed in 1982, Tokyo Blade soon outgrew their New Wave Of British Heavy Metal roots. Over the course of twelve studio albums and five EPs, the band consolidated their reputation. Fan favourites include the LPs Tokyo Blade (1983) and Night Of The Blade (1984): both these albums were originally released on the Powerstation label, which Cherry Red control.
The label was active across the eighties, also releasing records by Chrome Molly, Maineeaxe, Paul Di’anno’s Battlezone, Little Angels, Sergeant and others. Drop us a line if you’d like to know more.
