The Three Degrees new album ‘Strategy’ now represented by Cherry Red

We’re proud to announce that the legendary soul trio The Three Degrees have chosen the Cherry Red group for their next album. Strategy (Our Tribute To Philadelphia) is a fitting homage to one of black music’s greatest cities, revisiting some of the classic songs which made Philadelphia International a rival to Motown back in the 1970s. Songs include ‘Love Train’ (with added lyrics to reflect the Middle-East crisis) and ‘Mr And Mr. Jones’ (this time, from a woman’s perspective!).

Noosha Fox and friends injected some sophisticated glamour into the UK charts of the mid-1970s. Fox‘s ‘Only You Can’ peaked at No. 3 while ‘S-S-S Single Bed‘ peaked one place lower. ‘If I Point At The Moon’, taken from their 1975 self-titled album, is a lilting, sublime pop ditty that sounds remarkably timeless. The song is featured in the US drama mini-series A Friend Of The Family, which aired recently on the Peacock network.
