The Telescopes’ Creation Records catalogue now represented by Cherry Red

Hailing from Burton-on-Trent, The Telescopes emerged in 1988 with a raucous, psychedelic sound which won much acclaim.

Cherry Red now represents the band’s recordings for Creation Records 1990-1992. These include their Indie hits ‘Precious Little’, ‘Everso’, ‘Flying’ and ‘Celeste’, some of which were dreamier and more Shoegaze in style than before.

Noosha Fox and friends injected some sophisticated glamour into the UK charts of the mid-1970s. Fox‘s ‘Only You Can’ peaked at No. 3 while ‘S-S-S Single Bed‘ peaked one place lower. ‘If I Point At The Moon’, taken from their 1975 self-titled album, is a lilting, sublime pop ditty that sounds remarkably timeless. The song is featured in the US drama mini-series A Friend Of The Family, which aired recently on the Peacock network.
