LEGENDARY NEW SONG

An ingenious mix of synth pop, unusual rhythms and lyrics from the heart, ‘New Song’ introduced the pop world to Howard Jones with a bang back in 1983, gifting him with a No. 3 smash in the UK and a Top 30 hit Stateside. ‘New Song’ recently featured in new film The Legend of Juan Jose Mundo; a coming-of-age tale set in 1984 and a celebration of first crushes, friendship and ’80s charm.

FOXY FRIENDS

Noosha Fox and friends injected some sophisticated glamour into the UK charts of the mid-1970s. Fox‘s ‘Only You Can’ peaked at No. 3 while ‘S-S-S Single Bed‘ peaked one place lower. ‘If I Point At The Moon’, taken from their 1975 self-titled album, is a lilting, sublime pop ditty that sounds remarkably timeless. The song is featured in the US drama mini-series A Friend Of The Family, which aired recently on the Peacock network.
