The June Brides’ Nest

The June Brides were a quietly influential mid-80s Indie band who pre-empted the whole C86 movement with a string of memorable records.

 

Their 1985 Indie hit ‘No Place Called Home’ (issued on Marc Riley‘s In Tape label) can be heard in TV series The Nest, a new UK drama described as “thrilling and provocative” by theBBC. 

 

It’s been created by Sue Hogg and Nicole Taylor, the team behind the series Three Girls.
