The Great British Base-Off
Released in 2012 and recorded at what is now SARM Studios, Made in Basing Street was the first album by the English supergroup Producers, alternatively known as The Trevor Horn Band.
Their members – who should need no introduction – comprised Chris Braide, Lol Creme, Trevor Horn, Steve Lipson and Ash Soan.
Formed initially as a touring outfit, they started to write their own songs before recording the synth-pop, new-wave and rock influenced Made In Basing Street.
