The Garden Of Lesley’s Delights?
The late Lesley Duncan was a talented singer-songwriter who garnered critical acclaim while never achieving the success she deserved. However, she worked with Elton John, Scott Walker and Alan Parsons, had her songs covered by David Bowie and sang backing vocals on Pink Floyd’s Dark Side Of The Moon – all before retiring to the Isle Of Mull, where residents knew her as “the cheerful gardener”! We have rights to Lesley’s output for the GM label from the 70s and 80s, including two LPs. They sit well within our wider catalogue of recordings by myriad female performers, from global pop star Kim Wilde to soul sister Maxayn Lewis, folk singer Bridget St John to indie-psych rocker Tess Parks, iconic singer Toyah to one half of Everything But The Girl, Tracey Thorn.
