THE DARLING BUDS IN MAY!

The Darling Buds return with Same Sun / Same Sky, their first full-length studio record in more than three decades (the last being 1992’s Erotica). Recorded in Newport, the album revisits the bright melodies, infectious hooks and uplifting indie pop sound that established the Welsh band as one of the standout acts of the late ’80s/early ’90s UK indie pop scene. Supported by new singles and UK live dates, the release consolidates several years of playing indie festivals and gigs since reforming in 2010. FOXY FRIENDS

Noosha Fox and friends injected some sophisticated glamour into the UK charts of the mid-1970s. Fox‘s ‘Only You Can’ peaked at No. 3 while ‘S-S-S Single Bed‘ peaked one place lower. ‘If I Point At The Moon’, taken from their 1975 self-titled album, is a lilting, sublime pop ditty that sounds remarkably timeless. The song is featured in the US drama mini-series A Friend Of The Family, which aired recently on the Peacock network.
