THAT’S THE SPIRIT

Cherry Red are the proud custodians of some key back catalogue by legendary West Coast psychedelic band Spirit. This includes their cult classic The Adventures of Kaptain Kopter & Commander Cassidy in Potato Land, Tent Of Miracles, frontman Randy California’s Son Of America album as well as their classic 1970 album Twelve Dreams Of Dr Sardonicus alongside live tracks, demos, unreleased songs and sessions. We now represent the Sea Dream suite; a project Randy had been working on since the late 1980s which collects previously unreleased demos and recordings.

FOXY FRIENDS

Noosha Fox and friends injected some sophisticated glamour into the UK charts of the mid-1970s. Fox‘s ‘Only You Can’ peaked at No. 3 while ‘S-S-S Single Bed‘ peaked one place lower. ‘If I Point At The Moon’, taken from their 1975 self-titled album, is a lilting, sublime pop ditty that sounds remarkably timeless. The song is featured in the US drama mini-series A Friend Of The Family, which aired recently on the Peacock network.
