STRING-Z

Fronted by John Watts, rock/new wave band Fischer-Z celebrate their 50th anniversary with a new studio album, X-Ray Serenade and accompanying worldwide tour. The album retains the band’s original blend of sharp songwriting and socially observant art-punk. The campaign begins with digital single ‘Strings’, which you can hear below. Alongside the new album, we have just unveiled Word Paradise, a 3-CD package boasting Fischer-Z’s first three albums plus bonus material. Drop us a line to hear more.

FOXY FRIENDS

Noosha Fox and friends injected some sophisticated glamour into the UK charts of the mid-1970s. Fox‘s ‘Only You Can’ peaked at No. 3 while ‘S-S-S Single Bed‘ peaked one place lower. ‘If I Point At The Moon’, taken from their 1975 self-titled album, is a lilting, sublime pop ditty that sounds remarkably timeless. The song is featured in the US drama mini-series A Friend Of The Family, which aired recently on the Peacock network.
