Strange Maxxx!

Known for their melodic blend of AOR and classic rock, Scottish rockers Strangeways, have their 1984 song ‘Power Play’ featured in the new slasher horror film MaXXXine. Alongside Strangeways (whose publishing we also have rights to), we boast an ever-growing catalogue of 80s rock, including works by ex-Rainbow singer Graham Bonnet, both solo and with his band Alcatrazz, Scouse combo Spider, (Bernie) Tormé, Whitley Bay’s finest metal outfit Tygers Of Pan Tang, the Steve Gibbons Band, the debut album by Scarborough’s hit group Little Angels and numerous NWOBHM acts such as Witchfynde. For those about to rock … drop us a line.

FOXY FRIENDS

Noosha Fox and friends injected some sophisticated glamour into the UK charts of the mid-1970s. Fox‘s ‘Only You Can’ peaked at No. 3 while ‘S-S-S Single Bed‘ peaked one place lower. ‘If I Point At The Moon’, taken from their 1975 self-titled album, is a lilting, sublime pop ditty that sounds remarkably timeless. The song is featured in the US drama mini-series A Friend Of The Family, which aired recently on the Peacock network.
