Space Age Pop?
Cherry Red are the proud custodians of Miki Dallon’s catalogue, covering many fascinating tracks from the mid-1960s to the early 1980s. Among several hit singles is a wonderful re-make of Apollo 100‘s neo-classical hit instrumental from 1971, ‘Joy’ (re-titled ‘Jesu Joy’), which was the creation of multi-instrumentalist Tom Parker. The song was used recently in the Director’s cut of US TV series For All Mankind; a science fiction drama about 1970s space race.
