Science Fiction Skateboarder!
Founded in 1964, Skateboarder magazine was the scene’s longest running publication, capturing the boom in skateboarding across the 1970s and then returning to document its revival in the late 1990s.
Skateboarder ceased publication in 2013 but still operates digitally – and a new online Skateboarder movie will feature an early 80s synth pop nugget, ‘Science Fiction’ by Alan Burnham, which was originally issued on Cherry Red.
