RYDERS ON THE STORM
Cited as key players in the so-called ‘Paisley Underground’ scene, American band The Long Ryders were actually rooted as much in alternative country music (Gram Parsons style) as psychedelia. As such, their debut album Native Sons fused garage rock and folk rock with country and remains a classic of the genre. The band’s new studio album – High Noon Hymns – is out now. Listen and download the critically acclaimed first single ‘Four Winters Away,’ below.
