Run Rebel Run!

Recorded in July 1983 at Marquee Studios, Toyah’s ‘Rebel Run’ became a Top 30 UK single. Produced by Nick Tauber, it saw Ms. Willcox and Joel Bogen joined by songwriter/keyboardist Simon Darlow to create new material following the silver- certified album The Changeling.

Toyah was Safari Records’ most successful act, with eight albums and numerous hits between 1981 and 1983, including ‘It’s A Mystery’ and ‘Thunder In The Mountains’ (both No. 4), ‘I Want To Be Free‘ (No. 8), ‘Good Morning Universe’ (No. 14), and ‘Brave New World’ (No. 21). We represent all of Toyah’s Safari-era output. Rebel Run is released today as a limited edition 10″ EP …and it’s already sold out!
