ROLL ’N ROCK?

Zior were a cult early-70s progressive rock outfit built around multi-instrumentalist Keith Bonsor, known for their occult-tinged, heavy psych sound and a string of sought-after releases on the Nepentha and Beacon labels. Their track ‘Rolling Thunder’ has helped soundtrack the new 2025 heist-comedy thriller Eenie Meanie, bringing Zior’s distinctive energy to director Shawn Simmons’ debut feature film.

FOXY FRIENDS

Noosha Fox and friends injected some sophisticated glamour into the UK charts of the mid-1970s. Fox‘s ‘Only You Can’ peaked at No. 3 while ‘S-S-S Single Bed‘ peaked one place lower. ‘If I Point At The Moon’, taken from their 1975 self-titled album, is a lilting, sublime pop ditty that sounds remarkably timeless. The song is featured in the US drama mini-series A Friend Of The Family, which aired recently on the Peacock network.
