Manticore Records was set up in the early 1970s by progressive rock kings Emerson, Lake And Palmer as an outlet for other artists of a similar musical hue. Cherry Red are proud to continue their representation of this mighty catalogue, with albums by the likes of Stray Dog, P.F.M., Keith Christmas, Banco, Thee Image and Hanson.

FOXY FRIENDS

Noosha Fox and friends injected some sophisticated glamour into the UK charts of the mid-1970s. Fox‘s ‘Only You Can’ peaked at No. 3 while ‘S-S-S Single Bed‘ peaked one place lower. ‘If I Point At The Moon’, taken from their 1975 self-titled album, is a lilting, sublime pop ditty that sounds remarkably timeless. The song is featured in the US drama mini-series A Friend Of The Family, which aired recently on the Peacock network.
