Oh, It Hertz! is a new feature documentary directed by Gunnar Hall Jensen. As Gunnar follows vocalist Laurie Amat in a revealing look at how sound affects us in ways unknown to most people; what neither of them expected was finding out how World War II and the Nazi regime might be implicated.
When exploring sound and how it affects the body and mind in mysterious ways, who else to turn to but San Franciscan avant-garde art collective The Residents, who have both ‘Ginger’s Lament’ and ‘The Waver’ represented in the film. Listen carefully.
