RENAISSANCE FAIR!

RENAISSANCE FAIR!

Opening Out – The Albums 1977–1979 is a new tripe-disc compendium celebrating Renaissance’s classic late ’70s period, gathering the albums Novella, A Song For All Seasons and Azure d’Or. Known for their fusion of classical, folk, rock and jazz, plus Annie Haslam’s soaring vocals, the band scored their biggest UK hit during this period with ‘Northern Lights’. This trilogy capture Renaissance at their peak, with carefully crafted material produced by David Hentschel and standout tracks like ‘Can You Hear Me?’, ‘Jekyll & Hyde’ and ‘A Song for All Seasons’. Cherry Red also represent their wider catalogue, including Turn of the Cards (1974), Scheherazade and Other Stories (1975), Tuscany (2001) and In The Land Of The Rising Sun: Live In Japan (2002).
