Rare 5CC´s Discovered!

Several years before becoming half of hugely successful combo 10cc, budding Mancunian musicians/songwriters Kevin Godley and Lol Creme recorded an album’s worth of material, only a fraction of which was released at the time under the guise Frabjoy And Runcible Spoon in 1969.

Now those hitherto unheard songs are seeing the light of day as Frabjous Days in June. Drop us a line if you’d like to hear more.

FOXY FRIENDS

Noosha Fox and friends injected some sophisticated glamour into the UK charts of the mid-1970s. Fox‘s ‘Only You Can’ peaked at No. 3 while ‘S-S-S Single Bed‘ peaked one place lower. ‘If I Point At The Moon’, taken from their 1975 self-titled album, is a lilting, sublime pop ditty that sounds remarkably timeless. The song is featured in the US drama mini-series A Friend Of The Family, which aired recently on the Peacock network.
