Punk Vibes
The Vibrators are a British punk rock institution, formed in 1976 by vocalist Ian ‘Knox’ Carnochan, bassist Pat Collier, guitarist John Ellis, and drummer John ‘Eddie’ Edwards.
Originally signed to RAK Records, (Mickie Most produced their first single), they supported the likes of Iggy Pop and Ian Hunter on tour and over the years the band have influenced a host of punk bands, including the likes of Stiff Little Fingers, The Exploited and even Polish death metal band Vader.
Cherry Red are now the proud custodians of much of The Vibrators catalogue from the ‘80s – ’00s, including many demos and live albums. Drop us a line if you’re curious.
