Police Truck Syncs

Scott Pilgrim Takes Off is an animated series based on the Scott Pilgrim graphic novels, released on Netflix in 2023. It follows Scott Pilgrim as he battles the seven evil exes of his love interest, Ramona Flowers, with the original film’s cast reprising their roles as voice actors. The series’ soundtrack includes the 1980 US punk gem ‘Police Truck’ by Dead Kennedys, originally the B-side of the classic single ‘Holiday In Cambodia’ (which Cherry Red represents for world ex. North America).

FOXY FRIENDS

Noosha Fox and friends injected some sophisticated glamour into the UK charts of the mid-1970s. Fox‘s ‘Only You Can’ peaked at No. 3 while ‘S-S-S Single Bed‘ peaked one place lower. ‘If I Point At The Moon’, taken from their 1975 self-titled album, is a lilting, sublime pop ditty that sounds remarkably timeless. The song is featured in the US drama mini-series A Friend Of The Family, which aired recently on the Peacock network.
