PLASTIC IS FANTASTIC!

Fantastic Plastic Records is an independent record label originally formed by Darrin Robson in County Down in the early 1990s. Darrin eventually relocated to Brighton and has maintained a string of new releases pretty much ever since. Cherry Red are delighted to be representing much of FP’s output down the years for sync, including releases by artists such as Astrid, ikara colt, The Beatings, Race Horses, The Immediate, Bearsuit, Conchur White and, of course, Luke Haines. FOXY FRIENDS

Noosha Fox and friends injected some sophisticated glamour into the UK charts of the mid-1970s. Fox‘s ‘Only You Can’ peaked at No. 3 while ‘S-S-S Single Bed‘ peaked one place lower. ‘If I Point At The Moon’, taken from their 1975 self-titled album, is a lilting, sublime pop ditty that sounds remarkably timeless. The song is featured in the US drama mini-series A Friend Of The Family, which aired recently on the Peacock network.
