Pink Skies Ahead

Written and directed by Kelly Oxford and starring Rosa SalazarMary J. Blige and Henry WinklerPink Skies Ahead is the title of a new independent comedy-drama telling the story of a young woman who struggles with an anxiety disorder after dropping out of school.

Premiered as part of SXSW’s virtual-only film competition in March, Pink Skies Ahead includes within its soundtrack three early 90s indie tracks represented by Cherry Red: ‘Still A World Away’ by The Popguns‘Over Your Head’ by Dinosaur Jr and Ned’s Atomic Dustbin‘s 1990 hit ‘Until You Find Out’.

Due to the COVID crisis, a general release date for the film has yet to be announced.
