Old Blood!

Launched in 1969, Young Blood Records enjoyed a prolific output for nearly a decade, with around 70 singles and many albums across all genres through to the early 80s.

The majority of Young Blood masters are now controlled by Cherry Red, including tracks by artists such as ex-Sorrows singer Don Fardon. hit singer Mac & Katie Kissoon, blues singer Jimmy Powell, Python Lee Jackson, Steve ‘N Bonnie and the ex-Easybeats team of Vanda and Young (Paintbox, Tramp, etc.).

FOXY FRIENDS

Noosha Fox and friends injected some sophisticated glamour into the UK charts of the mid-1970s. Fox‘s ‘Only You Can’ peaked at No. 3 while ‘S-S-S Single Bed‘ peaked one place lower. ‘If I Point At The Moon’, taken from their 1975 self-titled album, is a lilting, sublime pop ditty that sounds remarkably timeless. The song is featured in the US drama mini-series A Friend Of The Family, which aired recently on the Peacock network.
