NURSERY RHYMES!
Cherry Red now represents the catalogue of In the Nursery, the long-running Sheffield-based project led by twin brothers Klive and Nigel Humberstone. Emerging from the early 1980s UK industrial scene and influenced by groups such as Joy Division, the band developed a distinctive cinematic sound blending martial rhythms, orchestral arrangements and dark atmospheric textures. Over the decades, they have built an international following through a wide range of concept albums and soundtrack work, including film and television placements and acclaimed rescoring projects for silent cinema classics such as The Cabinet of Dr. Caligari and Man With A Movie Camera. Their music has also appeared in major productions including Interview With The Vampire and Game Of Thrones, cementing their reputation as pioneers of cinematic neoclassical and dark ambient music.
