No Strangers to Folk Rock
Released on the Grapefruit label on 29 March, Strangers In The Room is a new 3-CD box set devoted to the UK Folk-Rock boom of the late 60s and early 70s.
Cherry Red control the rights to many of tracks, from acts on John Peel‘s Dandelion label (Beau, Bridget St. John) to recordings by The Strawbs, Third Ear Band, Matthews Southern Comfort, Unicorn, Dando Shaft, Knocker Jungle, Fresh Maggots, Jade, Paper Bubble, 9.30 Fly, Canticle and latter-day folk hero Bill Fay (pictured).
