Nektar For The Soul

Nektar are an English prog rock band who formed in Germany in 1969, by Roye Albrighton, Allan “Taff” Freemon, Derek “Mo” Moore” and Ron Howden. They were prolific in their early years, releasing numerous albums across the 70s and even making a fan out of Joy Division’s Ian Curtis. In 2000, they regrouped and unveiled a new album, The Other Side (2020). We represent the rights to the majority of the band’s catalogue, including A Tab In The Ocean, Sounds Like This, Remember The Future, Unidentified Flying Abstract, Down To Earth and Journey To The Centre Of The Eye – which is released today as a deluxe 5-CD / Blu-ray box set.

Track Of The Week

FOXY FRIENDS

Noosha Fox and friends injected some sophisticated glamour into the UK charts of the mid-1970s. Fox‘s ‘Only You Can’ peaked at No. 3 while ‘S-S-S Single Bed‘ peaked one place lower. ‘If I Point At The Moon’, taken from their 1975 self-titled album, is a lilting, sublime pop ditty that sounds remarkably timeless. The song is featured in the US drama mini-series A Friend Of The Family, which aired recently on the Peacock network.
