MUSICAL COUP!

We’ve teamed up with the LTM group, with their amazing catalogue of post-punk, synth-pop and indie music, including the work of pioneering experimentalists 23 Skidoo. Formed in 1979, they fused inspirations ranging from Fela Kuti and gamelan to Cabaret Voltaire and Throbbing Gristle, helping shape the sound of industrial, hip hop and electronic music that followed. A standout from their acclaimed Urban Gamelan era, inspired by Indonesian music, their 1984 single ‘Coup’ combines driving funk rhythms, horn riffs and samples into a defining punk/funk classic.

FOXY FRIENDS

Noosha Fox and friends injected some sophisticated glamour into the UK charts of the mid-1970s. Fox‘s ‘Only You Can’ peaked at No. 3 while ‘S-S-S Single Bed‘ peaked one place lower. ‘If I Point At The Moon’, taken from their 1975 self-titled album, is a lilting, sublime pop ditty that sounds remarkably timeless. The song is featured in the US drama mini-series A Friend Of The Family, which aired recently on the Peacock network.
