MUSICAL CHAIRS!
We now represent many recordings by Furniture, the cult London group who emerged from the West London indie scene in the early 1980s and became best known for their 1986 single ‘Brilliant Mind’. Blending witty, literate songwriting with sophisticated pop and alternative influences, the band built a devoted following through a run of acclaimed independent releases before signing to Stiff Records. Their album The Wrong People became a sought-after favourite, while members later went on to projects including Transglobal Underground and a successful career in music journalism for frontman Jim Irvin.
