MOODIES ON THE RUN

Hailing from the Midlands, The Moody Blues reached No. 1 in the UK with their second single, a haunting version of Bessie Banks’ soul ballad ‘Go Now!’ in 1965. The song was also a huge smash in the States (peaking at No. 10), prompting the release of their debut album The Magnificent Moodies and launching an enduring career that continues to this day. We represent all of Moody Blues’ recordings from 1964 to early 1967. The song has been used in a Amazon Prime documentary, Man On The Run; directed by Morgan Neville, the film explores Paul McCartney’s life after The Beatles and his artistic reinvention in the 1970s.

FOXY FRIENDS

Noosha Fox and friends injected some sophisticated glamour into the UK charts of the mid-1970s. Fox‘s ‘Only You Can’ peaked at No. 3 while ‘S-S-S Single Bed‘ peaked one place lower. ‘If I Point At The Moon’, taken from their 1975 self-titled album, is a lilting, sublime pop ditty that sounds remarkably timeless. The song is featured in the US drama mini-series A Friend Of The Family, which aired recently on the Peacock network.
