Melanie catalogue available to license through Cherry Red

Melanie made her name in the early 1970s with hits like ‘Brand New Hey’ and ‘Lay Down (Candles In The Rain)’.

Between 1972 and 1975, Melanie made four albums for her own label Neighborhood (Stoneground Words, As I See It Now, Madrugada, Sunset And Other Beginnings), which have never been reissued on CD – until now!

These are now available for licence from Cherry Red, including her UK Top 40 hit version of the old Shirelles classic, ‘Will You Love Me Tomorrow?’.

Noosha Fox and friends injected some sophisticated glamour into the UK charts of the mid-1970s. Fox‘s ‘Only You Can’ peaked at No. 3 while ‘S-S-S Single Bed‘ peaked one place lower. ‘If I Point At The Moon’, taken from their 1975 self-titled album, is a lilting, sublime pop ditty that sounds remarkably timeless. The song is featured in the US drama mini-series A Friend Of The Family, which aired recently on the Peacock network.
