LUKE’S BEEN BIZZY

Luke Haines returns with Izzy Wizzy Let’s Get Bizzy, a new album inspired by the strange, magical world of British children’s television in the 1960s and ’70s. Drawing on a surreal mix of cultural references – from shows like Ace of Wands and Children of the Stones to the eerie crossover between entertainment and the occult – the album explores a uniquely British blend of nostalgia, psychedelia and subversion. Known for his sharp, literate songwriting across projects including The Auteurs and Black Box Recorder, Luke once again delivers a concept-driven work that is both playful and unsettling. Izzy Wizzy Let’s Get Bizzy is released on 10th July 2026, with a UK tour to follow in September.

FOXY FRIENDS

Noosha Fox and friends injected some sophisticated glamour into the UK charts of the mid-1970s. Fox‘s ‘Only You Can’ peaked at No. 3 while ‘S-S-S Single Bed‘ peaked one place lower. ‘If I Point At The Moon’, taken from their 1975 self-titled album, is a lilting, sublime pop ditty that sounds remarkably timeless. The song is featured in the US drama mini-series A Friend Of The Family, which aired recently on the Peacock network.
