Louder Than Words

Renowned Irish DJ/music producer Micky Modelle made his name with the dance/club music scene. His pulsating dance anthem rewrite of F.R. David’s ballad ‘Words’ features prominently in a new documentary of the same name. Directed by Hannah Jandl and premiered in 2023, the film combines stories from various people across Europe, all connected by the song in question. We represent Micky’s work for Emerald Music, which specialised in Irish, Scottish and Celtic music for over half a century, from Irish show bands to Scottish pipe outfits, country singers to accordion music, folk artists to budding pop stars, Celtic musicians to rock combos. FOXY FRIENDS

Noosha Fox and friends injected some sophisticated glamour into the UK charts of the mid-1970s. Fox‘s ‘Only You Can’ peaked at No. 3 while ‘S-S-S Single Bed‘ peaked one place lower. ‘If I Point At The Moon’, taken from their 1975 self-titled album, is a lilting, sublime pop ditty that sounds remarkably timeless. The song is featured in the US drama mini-series A Friend Of The Family, which aired recently on the Peacock network.
