Local Heroes Out Of The Shadows
On the face of it, Barry Gibson’s Local Heroes were a tribute act, but how many such tribute acts feature actual members of the band they’re covering?
Local Heroes are just that; a Shadows homage that boasted former members such as bassist Jet Harris, drummer Tony Meehan and keyboardist Cliff Hall, amongst many others.
The band made three albums which Cherry Red now look after – the wittily named One Of Our Shadows Is Missing, Two Of Our Shadows Is Missing and (you guessed it), Three Of Our Shadows Is Missing.
