Let’s Get Waysted!

Pete Way was famously the bassist for rock band UFO from 1968-82 and played with the likes of Ozzy Osbourne and Michael Schenker. He also founded the respected hard rock outfit Waysted, who made several albums from 1983-2007, alongside his various solo works. Cherry Red are the proud custodians of much of Pete’s music, which ranges from the 1985 album The Good, The Bad And The Waysted to the albums he released under the moniker Damage Control. We have now added 1986 studio album Save Your Prayers, and the 1987 Live In Winnipeg album to the repertoire.

Noosha Fox and friends injected some sophisticated glamour into the UK charts of the mid-1970s. Fox‘s ‘Only You Can’ peaked at No. 3 while ‘S-S-S Single Bed‘ peaked one place lower. ‘If I Point At The Moon’, taken from their 1975 self-titled album, is a lilting, sublime pop ditty that sounds remarkably timeless. The song is featured in the US drama mini-series A Friend Of The Family, which aired recently on the Peacock network.
