Howard Jones should need no introduction. Back in the 1980s, he notched up a string of catchy, memorable synth-pop hits on both sides of the Atlantic. And he is still extremely active to this day. Cherry Red are the proud custodians of recordings from the first decade of Howard‘s career (1983-1993). Included are all his hit singles, such as ‘New Song’, ‘Things Can Only Get Better’, ‘Like To Get To Know You Well’, ‘Pearl In The Shell’ and last but not least, Howard’s highest charting single, ‘What Is Love?’ – which features in an imminent episode from the third season of the acclaimed Apple TV production Physical. Set in sunny 1980s San Diego, the series documents the life of a quietly suffering woman who supports her husband’s bid for state assembly while battling personal demons until she finds release through the world of aerobics.
