Laurel Aitken featured on ITV’s hit drama ‘Call The Midwife’
Call The Midwife is the BBC’s hit TV drama series about a group of nurses working in East London in the late 1950s. The latest episode included ‘Nebuchnezer’, a period Ska track by a pioneer of Jamaican music, Laurel Aitken. You can listen to it here. Cherry Red represent most of Laurel’s prolific output from the late 1950s up to the 1980s.
