US soul/R&B/jazz artist Jarrod Lawson launches 2026 with the release today of his soulful new single ‘Do Whatchu Gotta’, a melodic slow jam co-written with French chill-hop artist Rose Noir that showcases his signature vocal harmonies and atmospheric keyboard style. Exploring themes of acceptance and letting go, the song marks the start of the campaign for his forthcoming album Just Let It, due in May, which features collaborations with Raquel Rodriguez, Allen Stone, Carrtoons and Eric Roberson. Jarrod will embark soon on a US tour. A live performance video for ‘Do Whatchu Gotta’ will follow.
