JUST A JULIAN THING

Based in London, Julian Jonah was at the vanguard during the mid-to-late 80s explosion of UK dance music. Inspired by the first wave of Chicago house and the ensuing acid house boom, Jonah made a string of soulful classics, including 1990’s Afropop dance floor filler ‘Just A Love Thing’, which you can listen to below. We now represent most of Julian’s output so drop us a line if you’d like to hear more?

FOXY FRIENDS

Noosha Fox and friends injected some sophisticated glamour into the UK charts of the mid-1970s. Fox‘s ‘Only You Can’ peaked at No. 3 while ‘S-S-S Single Bed‘ peaked one place lower. ‘If I Point At The Moon’, taken from their 1975 self-titled album, is a lilting, sublime pop ditty that sounds remarkably timeless. The song is featured in the US drama mini-series A Friend Of The Family, which aired recently on the Peacock network.
