Jack Lancaster’s Musical Bombs
Jack Lancaster is a British composer, record producer and musician. In the late 1960s, he co-founded the prog rock group Blodwyn Pig with Jethro Tull guitarist Mick Abrahams.
Cherry Red now represent Jack’s catalogue, including the concept album based around the children’s story Peter And The Wolf (1975, with Robin Lumley and a stellar cast of musicians, including narrator Vivian Stanshall, Colosseum’s Jon Hiseman, Chris Spedding, Brian Eno, Bill Bruford, Gary Brooker, Alvin Lee and Phil Collins).
Other albums include Marscape (1976), Wild Connections (1979), Skinningrove Bay (1980) and Blodwyn Pig’s Pigthology (2013).
