Horses For Courses

Brian Robertson is a Scottish rock guitarist renowned for his tenure with Thin Lizzy from 1974-1978. After departing the acclaimed rock band, Robertson co-founded Wild Horses in 1978 alongside former Rainbow bassist Jimmy Bain. The band released two albums, Wild Horses (1980) and Stand Your Ground (1981), blending hard rock with melodic hooks. Cherry Red now represent the rights to these albums, alongside a live Wild Horses LP and Brian’s two solo records, Diamonds And Dirt and That’s All…! (with backing band The Clan), plus associated live recordings and demos.

FOXY FRIENDS

Noosha Fox and friends injected some sophisticated glamour into the UK charts of the mid-1970s. Fox‘s ‘Only You Can’ peaked at No. 3 while ‘S-S-S Single Bed‘ peaked one place lower. ‘If I Point At The Moon’, taken from their 1975 self-titled album, is a lilting, sublime pop ditty that sounds remarkably timeless. The song is featured in the US drama mini-series A Friend Of The Family, which aired recently on the Peacock network.
