Hip Hop Knights

Hailing from Wolverhampton, Beverley Knight is one of the UK’s most acclaimed soul singers with a string of hits, which eventually led to her her being awarded an MBE. Via our acquisition of the mighty Dome Records, we’re proud to represent rights to Beverley’s breakthrough debut LP The B-Funk (1995), which celebrated and updated her love of classic American R&B. Beverley’s vocal hook from track ‘Mutual Feeling’ has recently been sampled by influential hip-hop star Playboi Carti (feat. Kendrick Lamar) on his 2025 track ‘Back Door.’

FOXY FRIENDS

Noosha Fox and friends injected some sophisticated glamour into the UK charts of the mid-1970s. Fox‘s ‘Only You Can’ peaked at No. 3 while ‘S-S-S Single Bed‘ peaked one place lower. ‘If I Point At The Moon’, taken from their 1975 self-titled album, is a lilting, sublime pop ditty that sounds remarkably timeless. The song is featured in the US drama mini-series A Friend Of The Family, which aired recently on the Peacock network.
