Guess Who’s Bach?

Guess Who’s Bach?

Bachdenkel were an English art rock group formed in the late 1960s in Birmingham’s King’s Heath area.

Following a publicity campaign which included subverting a large department store’s marketing logo and a photo-shoot with a piano in a local fountain, they left the country for Paris.

Over the next decade, Bachdenkel produced two albums: Lemmings in 1973 and Stalingrad in 1977.

At times, they shared bills with Led Zeppelin and Black Sabbath. Cherry Red are the proud custodians of both Bachdenkel albums.
