Got Goth?
Cherry Red is a veritable treasure trove of dark-hearted, spirited 80s goth rock. A time when a whole movement took the energy and edge of punk, the darker elements of 70s glam rock and even strains of psychedelia, and forged them into new sounds. A whole “look” was born – in a word, black! – which has transcended the era and remains an iconic fashion/style to this day. Cherry Red control the rights to many eery, menacing, doom-laden recordings by the likes of Alien Sex Fiend (pictured), Theatre Of Hate, Flesh For Lulu, Red Lorry Yellow Lorry, Skeletal Family, Ausgang, The Screaming Dead, Inca Babies, Hula and 1919.
