Cherry Red now represent the rights to 80s pop group Kajagoogoo‘s 2008 album Gone To The Moon. Written and recorded by Nick Beggs, Steve Askew and Stuart Croxford-Neale, the LP was released prior to the band’s full reunion with Limahl and Jez Strode. A new 8-CD anthology, Box Of Goo – The Complete Anthology, will be released in November on Cherry Pop.

FOXY FRIENDS

Noosha Fox and friends injected some sophisticated glamour into the UK charts of the mid-1970s. Fox‘s ‘Only You Can’ peaked at No. 3 while ‘S-S-S Single Bed‘ peaked one place lower. ‘If I Point At The Moon’, taken from their 1975 self-titled album, is a lilting, sublime pop ditty that sounds remarkably timeless. The song is featured in the US drama mini-series A Friend Of The Family, which aired recently on the Peacock network.
