GOING, GOING … GOMM

Formerly guitarist with pub rockers Brinsley Schwarz, Ian Gomm duly transitioned to a solo career in 1975, as well as working with numerous other artists. Gomm’s single ‘Hold On’, from his first solo album, became a notable success in 1979, reaching No. 18 on the US charts. This catchy tune recently featured in the latest series of Netflix US comedy series Tires, starring comedian Shane Gillis. We represent the rights to lots of Ian’s tracks. FOXY FRIENDS

Noosha Fox and friends injected some sophisticated glamour into the UK charts of the mid-1970s. Fox‘s ‘Only You Can’ peaked at No. 3 while ‘S-S-S Single Bed‘ peaked one place lower. ‘If I Point At The Moon’, taken from their 1975 self-titled album, is a lilting, sublime pop ditty that sounds remarkably timeless. The song is featured in the US drama mini-series A Friend Of The Family, which aired recently on the Peacock network.
